Scottish Power has revamped its prices again, with ScottishPower Online Energy Saver 9 now taking the lead. This online-only tariff for gas and electricity offers the utility company’s lowest prices for UK residential customers and takes up position as one of the UK’s cheapest gas and electricity price plans.

The new price plan replaces Online Energy Saver 8, which is no longer available.

Scottish Power Online Energy Saver 9 offers average yearly savings of £409.63 compared to standard prices for gas and electricity customers who pay quarterly (without taking any prompt payer discounts into account).

The saving is calculated based on yearly gas usage of 20,500kWh and electricity usage of 3,300kWh charged at the Standard Rate. This breaks down as an average saving of £205.80 for paying by monthly direct debit instead of by quarterly bill and a further saving of £203.83 for being on the ScottishPower Online Energy Saver 9 tariff. The latter also includes an annual discount of £15.75 for using Scottish Power’s Online Energy Service.

Like the discounted price plans that came before it, the Online Energy Saver 9 offer is subject to limited availability and may be removed without notice by ScottishPower at any time.
